Oak City Cycling

My experiences with oak city seems to not be on par of others unfortunately and I am not one to easily complain.nnI bought a bike in 2020 from them but it has been experiencing brake warbling since day 1 and through repeated visits nothing has been fixed and when I bring it up it is told to be normal. This isn't a very good riding experience and I would have agreed to pay for any services if they had a resolution.nnAdditionally I had brought in another bike to be serviced with them and I didn't receive a call regarding what was done and or when it would be ready. I picked up the bike and the same issues were persistent.nnOn a positive note they are great for when it comes to sales and fitting you for a bike, and the team seems friendly I just haven't gotten the service I expect and have had better luck just working on the bikes on my own.

Super friendly staff and cool space! Let us take it on a test ride right away. Almost got us to buy the first bike we looked at just off great vibes (and pricing)...almost.

They were able to squeeze me in for a quick fix to make my bike rideable until they have time for the full repair. Super helpful, friendly, and informative.

My first visit to Oak City. I worked with one of the mechanics, Caroline, and she was incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and friendly. I highly recommend both her and the shop!

Just got my bike back from a full tune-up at Oak City Cycling. Amazing. It's as though I have a totally new bike. There was a wait--as there are at most bike shops right now--but the wait was totally worth the incredible results. What a joy to ride my rejuvenated bike. As always the friendly committed folks at OCC are great with communication all along the line.nnVery reasonably priced and got a detailed estimate before I went in.nnI can't recommend Oak City Cycling enough. These folks are passionate about cycling--and it shows in their work and results.nnI'm fortunate that I can walk there to pick up my bike, but I would absolutely go much farther to have this team take care of my bike.nnQuite simply, I won't go anywhere else for my bike needs. And you shouldn't either. Thanks OCC!
