Springfield Bed & Breakfast

Springfield B&B was wonderful! The room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. The house and grounds were beautiful and the care that has gone into maintaining the historical accuracy of the home is evident. The owners are very nice and welcoming and I can't say enough about the breakfasts. Wonderful southern home cooking that is locally sourced and made with pride. We looked forward to getting up just to eat the breakfast. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

I've stayed at Springfield Bed & Breakfast twice now while in the area for work and have been impressed more and more each time.nnI think what stands out most for me is just how personable the owners are and how they go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The room was spotless, I slept just as good as if I were at home, and the service is impeccable.nnAside from that, what I also look forward to each time I stay is the breakfast - even if you think you know what a country/farm breakfast is, then let me tell you it was over the top! Locally sourced meats, eggs directly from the farm, figs from the fig tree out by the smokehouse, and all manner of other goodness that is rare/hard to find!nnBeyond breakfast, the property is gorgeous. I spent some time in the gazebo near the pond to catch a summer sunset and storm (see photos/videos).nnI don't even bother considering anywhere else when I need to travel overnight for work in Northeast NC now. Definitely an amazing place, amazing people, and worth checking out! You'll be glad you did!

What a cute place. Old fashioned house with a small pond. It is adorable with great customer service. But if you want to just see some where that locals hang out try Bethel Fishing pier off Snug Harbor Road. Not far. Local farmers tend to meet here. It sets on the water. Has great sun rise and sunsets. Small bar, great hand made sandwiches, soups and ice cream. Romantic and friendly bunch if people . Go where locals hang out see what’s going on on the back roads.

Great place to stay. Great people. After check in I've got cup of pecans from the yard. It was perfectly good. I rarely find that quality in a store.nThan in the evening was short talk with Mary and her husband about their farm and their story.nBefore bad time there was ice cream with owners.nIn the morning was great breakfast with fresh peaches and strawberries. Eggs are from their own chicken.nThank you very much! With love. God bless.

We only stayed one night, but the experience was wonderful! The owners make you feel like family - the rooms are comfortable and inviting - the breakfast is extraordinary! If you are ever in northeastern North Carolina, you have to stay at the Springfield Bed and Breakfast!
