The Windstar Hotel at Carolina Beach

There was no stay. I booked a room for a tenant who was displaced. The hotel sent the confirmation several days in advance. Upon arriving, the hotel staff was extremely rude to my tenant. To the point that they pushed her aside. I had to resend them all my contact information and credit card. Upon arriving into the room the tenant immediately took photos of the room and it was extremely dirty. She did not feel the hotel was clean enough and the overall experience was terrible. I highly suggest avoiding this hotel at all costs. I'm happy to discuss this with the Manager, but they will not answer the phone. I will consider reviewing this review should someone in good faith reach out and make the situation right - aka not charge me for the full stay that is dirty during COVID 19. I will also be making a complaint to the BBB.
