Golden Sands Motel

We absolutely loved it. Got an ocean view with balcony. Room was nice and clean. With the exception of hearing the waves crashing all day and night its quiet and relaxing. View was AMAZING! The service staff was very helpful and friendly. Check in was a breeze!nThere is a small gym, and an indoor pool that is 3 ft deep.

I was only there one night, but the room and facility is really nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Elevators quick and clean. Rooms very clean and toilet has super-power-flush, lol. Nice water pressure in the shower and plenty of hot water. Nice indoor pool . . . very nice. I don't think I can afford it in-season though.

We try to sneak out to Carolina Beach once or twice a year during off season - this is the place we usually go to. The rooms are clean and well maintained, the staff is friendly and very helpful. But the best is that it is all located on a very beautiful spot on the beach.

I have stayed at this motel twice on a business trip, from the triad, and was pleasantly surprised at how lovely this motel was! Up until this point, they'd never put us up in a motel before. My coworkers and I were a little nervous and didn't know what to expect at first, but those feelings quickly subsided. The proximity to the beach was nice. Waking up to the sounds of the ocean is so relaxing when you're working away from home, the rooms were clean, and the view of the sunrise catching the Tikki bar from my window is a memory that sticks with me till today. It was a beautiful place to be.

We enjoyed our stay. There was a restaurant and a full service bar in our building and a Tiki bar on the pier where our building stood as well. The people at front desk was nice,bartenders made really good drinks, and place was clean.
