The Mountain House

Thank you, Inza and John! We had a fantastic stay during our Blue Ridge Motorcycle Trip last October. Thank you for accommodating us on very short notice. The house is great, the beds super comfortable and the breakfast outstanding. Loved the porch! I hope to be back again soon.

Quaint home and nicely decorated. Clean and comfortable. The owners are very nice and breakfast was good.

I really don’t want to tell you how wonderful this place is. I fear you’ll reserve it when we need to come back. My family lived in this county for 17 years. We just bought a home in College Station, Texas, but we’ll be back. The Mountain House is the only choice. My spiritual gift is hospitality. I keep walking around thinking, “This place would be perfect if they had...”and then I find it.

Such a quaint place! Right across the street from the Gem House is this wonderful bed and breakfast.nnI had to investigate, it was so lovely. While I didn’t get to stay there, I knocked on the front door but no one answered. So I just took pictures. Next time I’m in the area, will call first!
