Carolina River Ranch

If you are looking for a fun camping experience with the comfort of a dry tent, a bed with cute clean sheets,an air wick, and a fan you need to go. We went after Franklin had 30 inches of rain in a short period of time. You could tell how much rain they had gotten while tubing and hiking. Pathways on campground where covered with pine straw and hay which helped tremendously. The tubing with tubes available on site was awesome. Tim the owner gave directions to some great hikes and things to do in Franklin. Some of our group fished, some hiked, some went tubing, some sat in hot tub, some played horseshoes,some napped and some sat around the fire pit catching up. The outdoor kitchen was great. We cooked hotdogs and hamburgers for dinner & brought pans to scramble eggs and cook bacon for breakfast. Tim brought danishes from Ingles and had coffee for us as well in morning. You can hear your neighbor snore but you can also hear the rain tap your tent, the wind, the birds and other sounds nature has to offer. It was nice to have an indoor bathroom and shower. They were clean and it was obviously checked on and restocked a few times a day. I booked directly through Carolina River Ranch website. I emailed several questions before booking and received answers in a timely manner. Will definitely be back and recommend to friends and family.

Fantastic spot for a Gathering! Glamping in the North Carolina mountains is exactly what this New York girl needed!

Very nice place we enjoyed our stay

We went by to check it out the owner was so rude I would never stay there. Plus it did not look very glampic just look like a tent city.
