Chica and Sunsets Hostel

Stayed here for 3 nights this last week. This is not your ordinary hostel. It has a full kitchen and laundry. Each bedroom has two beds with enough space for each hikers treasures. The entire living space is very roomy.nnThe place is incredibly clean with furniture you can relax on. My bed was very comfortable. The surrounding area is quiet and the bedrooms are dark making it easy to fall asleep and stay asleep. I would feel comfortable bringing the pickiest person here.nnSunsets and Chica are great hosts, making it easy to get to and from the trail and making sure you can get to town if you need anything. As thru hikers of two trails the AT and CT as well as hiking in Costa Rica, they know what they are talking about.nnThe purpose of staying at a hostel it to rest and recover. This place does that but also let's your psychological side recover too.

Chica and Sunsets hostel was the perfect stop midway through hiking the Bartram Trail. Chica helped us figure out mileage of the brand new section of trail before the trailhead, and pickup from the trail was right on timeud83dudc4cud83cudffc. Their place is spotless, and feels like you’re staying with friends that you’ve known for years. They go above and beyond for hikers! I would recommend highly for anyone coming through Franklin area.

My stay at Chica and Sunset’s hostel was wonderful. The space is quiet, clean, and relaxing. They’ve got everything a hiker needs to get recharged.nnChica and Sunset are very thoughtful, kind, and accommodating. Show this place, and them, some love!

The best hostel we have ever stayed! It is clean and has a attention to detail comfortable feel. Chica and Sunsets have thought of all needs as Thru hikers and stewards to the community. We arranged shuttles for hiking and had a seamless trip. 2 great breweries and good food choices. Worth the extra few bucks for the company and a great night. Excellent choice for Section hikers and slackpacking.

Amazing Folks. They will pick up hikers at Winding Stair Gap and take them back to their amazing hostel. At the hostel there is plenty of food, drinks and snacks for you to purchase. The shower is hot and they have a laundry area. The bedrooms are just the right size for 4 people. If you are hiking the Appalachian Trail or just need a place to hang your hat at night, this is the place. Awesome living room area for you to relax in. Nice seating area outside. During hiking season they provide an amazing breakfast for the hikers who stay.
