Cascades Mountain Resort, Ascend Hotel Collection

Lovely hotel, clean, nice staff, convenient on site restaurant. The restaurant does not have a huge option but they do have all the pool side foods you would want. Pizza for the kids , wings, salad etc. They also have a nice dinner option each night. Pool was clean and hot tub was large. Hot tub perk is that no one under 16 is allowed. Pool towels conveniently located at front desk.

My family and I had a great time here the pool was amazing especially at night. The slide was very fun and they had a huge hot tube and the best part of that is only 16 and older can get in!!! They have a restaurant not a lot of variety of food but I figured it was because of covid none the less the food was very good. For the adults that like to drink they do have a bar!! The room was very clean! When you walk in it gives you a very good homey and mountain vibe. The only flaws about this place is that the people that work at the front desk ain’t very friendly and when we asked for towels the guy act like it was gonna kill himself to get us some towels but other than that it was very good place to go for a weekend getaway and a good place for the kids ud83dude01ud83dude01

I had a great experience both with check in and check out front desk reps. Derrick and Don both were GREAT and exceeded my customer service expectations! Rooms were clean and kids loved the indoor pool with slide and led lights. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

The hotel is overall nice, it's a bit odd in that the interior and room is super nice but it's almost as though they are cutting corners on things like towels, sheets, blankets etc... Its not that these things are bad it's that they are not as nice as you would expect when you walk in. The pool is very nice, the kids loved the slide, the lady at the front desk on march 16 was fantastic. Still a solid 4 star experience, will definitely consider it again for a quick little affordable getaway with the kids... It should also be considered that the room is nicer than the cost would suggest, so even though the towels are a bit rough it is still great value.

The front desk was helpful and gave us a room on the outer side away from the pool area. The hotel room was an average room but clean with fridge and microwave. It is an older hotel converted into a resort. The outside walkways are enclosed ( no freezing from the pool to your room ) but also no option for fresh air. The pool area and lobby were wonderful.The restaurant on site was delicious. Way above what you would expect from a hotel restaurant. The Gorgonzola crusted pork chop was to die for. We also had pizza and the burger . All were yummy . Great beer selection also. We were traveling in a motor home from South Carolina and needed a nice break with an inside pool for the kids .
