Marriott Greensboro Downtown

Nice lobby and great bar with tremendous food. Rooms are updated with comfy beds. Only downfall is having to pay for parking and the building shows it's age in spots.

This is an older hotel in the heart of downtown Greensboro. We spent one night during a winter storm that caused power outages. Our room was well decorated and appointed.nnDue to the heavy power outages, the hotel was packed and they were clearly overwhelmed. The mediocre service was understandable. But our room was HOT all night and the thermostat was either decorative or broken. Neither my wife or I could sleep. And the shower water was ALMOST WARM (same evening and morning).nnFood was available from the bar and it was DARN GOOD! But there was no menu available online or in the room - so we had to go downstairs twice (during COVID) which meant playing elevator roulette. And then a second trip to pick up the food. THIS SHOULD BE BETTER MANAGED TO REDUCE NUMBERS IN HOTEL.nnMask compliance was good.

Stayed here on my wedding night 6 years ago and again during a power outage. The rooms are comfy and most of all clean. The remote is in plastic for sanitation purposes. I felt comfortable sleeping here amid covid.

Loved this hotel and service ud83dude0dbeautiful great renovation. Can't wait to come back and I especially loved the big LG TV in the room wish the bathroom was a little more spacious but overall great experience.

Beautiful hotel, however the heat wasn't working in our room and it was below 30 degrees last night.
