Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fayetteville-Ft. Bragg

This was my second time staying here. Really nice and loves it. I can say there are some HONEST people working there. My boyfriend left his watch in the room after we checked out. Called hours later and it was turned into the front desk. Thanks a lot to the employees. Honesty goes a long way with me!!!

Being a hotel reviewer, I must say my stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites on Skibo Road, Fayetteville NC, was close to a disaster.nAfter making a reservation for a 3-night weekend stay, first, let me say the pros: I booked a Canterbury Suite (Jacuzzi Room). It was great, very spacious, a fine king-size bed with a fireplace with fine lighting. The jacuzzi was situated in an ideal location with angled mirrors to add to the decor and ambiance of the room. So the room and the gym were the highlights of this hotel stay.nNow for the cons:nWhen it comes to the room service, that is where the big difference was. I went in on Friday evening at about 4:30 pm and never received room service until Sunday Morning, saying that room service is only offered every 3 days because of Covid unless you request, which we did. All we received was empty promises from the staff. At one time on Saturday, I was reminded by the front desk, but nobody came. It so happened that the front desk attendant came herself to replenish towels and indicate that the housekeeping would shortly be in the room to clean, etc. No one came. I later reminded them again, this time to be promised while I was out doing errands someone would go to the room to remove the pile of trash and towels accumulated from Friday. When I returned about 10 pm, nothing was done. I had to spend the night with all that trash. I could not use the jacuzzi cause it needed to be refreshed. My partner had to do the cleaning that could accommodate us another night. At this point, I could not but request the manager’s attention.nThe next day, we were offered a discount rate from our stay with about a $20 reduction if we wanted to spend another night. I refused the offer as it was not worth it. On top of all these failures, the electric iron was faulty, the housekeeper didn't do a good job of cleaning the room as food residue was still on the carpet clearly in full view.nThe hotel also needs to pay keen attention to the overrun trash in the back parking lot which is a sore sight too close to the property. Breakfast also needs to step up. Raw sausages and distasteful eggs are certainly not the best that can be offered.

First HIE stay since the onset of the pandemic. I understand the need to rethink breakfast, but believe they could still offer some or all of the hot items with some minor changes to their current plan.nnThe elevator is small and does not instill confidence in the occupants.nnThe fridge in the room is loud.nnHowever... the hot water is nice and hot...!

We arrived to friendly staff- but a disgusting room. The floors in our room were covered in food, confetti, wrappers and even toys. The pull out couch had fresh urine and feces stains. When we called the front desk they apologized and said to try to have a better night and MAYBE in 2 days a manager would be able to contact me about this. Absolutely disgusted.

I had a decent stay, other than a delivery altercation. Hotl was peaceful and homey. The only problem is the freeway is right there and you get all the noise. Other than that I had a good stay.
