Sea Foam Motel

The greatest place to stay when you're looking for somewhere with great prices and service. My spouse and I went this past weekend for our one year wedding anniversary. The employees treated us with so many things. Not to mention, you get access to the beach right out your back door!! (When you stay on the bottom floor of course) With an upstairs room, you get a beautiful view and can wake up to the sunrise. We we'll always be staying here for every trip to the beach.

I totally enjoyed my stay at the Sea Foam Motel. The staff is friendly the rooms are clean and the view from the second floor is as good as it gets. I definitely plan on coming back.

I ove this Motel amazing mom pops make you feel like your at home kind of place. I couldn't help but notice though that it had been stated that all the linens are done in house. Which is great however it says they were done in hot water and if I remember correctly there is not any hot water in this establishment for the laundry area. It does make me concerned for the possible spread of more COVID-19 and the possibility of putting guests at risk due to such a thing. I say this only because I myself used to manage the linen area myself and know there was not any hot water for the laundry room even though we had really wanted one. I also couldn't help but to notice that going back as far as 2 years there have been reviews have been responded to not even a month ago. Thanking guests for their praises on such a homey lovely place to spend family vacation. Which is great! However this place is under new management as of currently so to thank the guests for a review on how the motel used to be and take that credit is what it seems like in my eyes is very misleading. Tracey Zimmerman was the GM at the time of a lot of these reviews and it was her who made things how they were there. Not trying to be hasty just pointing out some things I have seen while reading along and to me that's very disheartening that someone would take everything she did and made of this establishment and use it for their own praises. I do wish the new staff the best of luck. I do know how hard Tracey worked to make everyone happy and how short staffed she was last year when we came she truely gave that place her everything.

My mom and I found this awesome place about 3 years ago, and we have come back every year since! We absolutely love it! My husband and I come with my mom once a year and then come back before summer is over. We have brought plenty of people with us and everyone loves it! Hands down the best place to stay. Its older but has lost of charm! Verynaccommodating. Good service. Love that it's that mom and pop feel.

For the value, 5 stars. Easy access. Basic mattress and furniture. Exactly what we expected. Didn't get hassled by neighbors and surroundings. Went in the off season. We are low maintenance folks with no kids and pets. We woul go back here if returning to nags head.
