Dolphin Oceanfront Motel

VERY Unfair and Unreasonable: Wife got sick, cancelled with 10 days notice & they kept my $1,000.00 Deposit.nNever even offered us a partial credit towards another stay.nNever Again. Also, they rented ALL Oceanfront Rooms for our week. So they collected twice. Not very interested in repeat and referral business, I guess!!

Had to make last minute reservations with our 2 big dogs. Very nice people! Great basic motel right on the beach. Very clean and very dog friendly!

Only plus is location..dirty room and very dirty corridors. Guest do their own maintenance...lazy manager with 9-5 hours with no help after this. Stay elsewhere if you want a good stay.

I loved this motel because it is pet friendly and they had 7 rooms where you can walk right out the back sliding glass door onto the beach. When you wake up, it’s a beautiful picture of the ocean! The only thing I would change is the brooms being replaced because we can track in a lot of sand. The cleaning ladies were super nice and I really have nothing but good things to say about the place. Make sure you bring your own hand wash because they only hand out the small bars of soap that aren’t antibacterial.

This was our first trip to Nags Head and it was GREAT!!! The front desk staff are very nice and helpful. So helpful they gave us plastic silverware because the restaurant did not put any with our to go order. We had the pool to ourselves. On the beach and a quite beach. We could bring our fur baby and he had a blast for his first trip to the beach. Room was just enough space for us & clean. We will be back. :)
