Fin N' Feather Waterside Inn

Terrible!! We stayed here last year August and it was good but this time will be our last time. We stayed in room 11.. it was dirty and you had to wear socks all the time because your feet would be walking on dirt. My son woke up to water on the bed (alot of water!!!) We were on the second floor so it was strange but it stormed that night. Called the help line 3 times!!! Someone came out while we were not in there and they were supposed to call me first. They said it was coming from the ac and it could not be fixed until the next day... so 2 nights of water!!! And that was our complete stay. They were suppose to call me back 4 times they told me..but I never got a call back from management... dont stay here not worth it

If you go in knowing what to expect this place is great! It's just a lil fishing hole motel. The 1st floor rooms have been redone since the hurricane a few years back. The 2nd floor rooms have not been updated. I highly recommend booking straight from their website to avoid the issues people complain about on Expedia etc. If you book straight from their website you get to pick exactly which room you want and you get all check in info (including room code) immediately. There is no one in the office and cleaning service is not done daily due to Covid. We took extra toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags just in case, but ended up not needing them. There is a back door that I thought led to stairs to outside, but they never rebuilt the stairs so it was just a small balcony. I believe 1 of the rooms still has access to stairs. You can fish out the back on a small dock. There are benches and picnic tables and a fish cleaning station. We only caught baby fish. We stayed in room 2 (Queen deluxe 2). One mattress was acceptable one was not as far as comfort. Thankfully we only needed 1. I would definitely stay again.

The rooms are nice and big. I'd say big enough for two families of two or a family of four to share. Two beds with a wall between and a bathroom for both beds. One shared kitchen area. Nice views to the rear of the property. Not bad for a budget vacation.

They are real down to earth people and the rooms are nice and clean

I would not recommend this hotel to anymore. The room was nice but we had ants coming in from the window and can you say we had ants with our coffee. The ants were in the coffee pot. So Gross.... After the cleaning women cleaned the room the next day ( if that's what you call it) the trash was never picked up and taken out and they left the dirty towels and washcloths in the corner where we had left them . They were never picked up either. She left out clean towels in a bag thrown on the bed... This service was one of the worst I've seen. Plus when you arrive at the hotel the office is closed and no one is even working there. You have to call this number for a door code. Please do yourself a favor and don't book this Hotel......
