A little pricey perhaps, and the shower wasnt getting hot water (but tough). But I slept well, the place was clean and comfortable, and that was what was important. Lugging a heavy suitcase up two flights of narrow, steep stairs was fun (not) but still, would possibly stay again should the opportunity arise.
I stayed at The Amory Guest House in October 2016 and I was amazed by how clean everything was. The beds are really comfortable too I believe they have memory foam mattresses. The location is perfect just a few blocks from the subway Central Square a few minutes from Boston and right between Harvard and MIT.nThey have lots of bathrooms and they are very clean. They also offer free breakfast and their kitchen is available for the guests to use. I was really happy to be able to play the piano from the living room. I totally recommend it and I surely will come back.
I came into Cambridge for a conference. I found the Amory to be an excellent fit for my needs. It is very well organized and maintained. The room was clean, quite and comfortable. The common spaces were in the New England tradition comfortable and unpretentious. I've already booked a return stay.
Very cozy hotel, in a fairly central location.nnVery nice room, comfortable bed, well functioning WIFI included. Bath rooms are shared, but they are very nice and clean, and there seemed to be enough of them.nI would absolutely use this again.
Clean and cozy. Convenient to T stop. Nice area. Whole foods about a block away. Very responsive host.
