Madison House Bed & Breakfast

Very nice, old house with a beautiful downstairs. Unfortunately it also leaves some to be desired as a place to stay - dead bugs covering the windowsills, making them unusable, and on the floor. There are very few outlets which is difficult for teleworking. I can see where this has potential a nice place to stay and maybe the winter is not their best foot forward, but I was let down

A huge thank you to Yvonne and Jack for sharing their home with us during our recent stay in Whiteville. They made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in the door, and immediately encouraged us to make ourselves right at home. From our beautifully appointed room to the home-cooked hot breakfast, it was southern hospitality at its finest. If you love historic homes, you're in for such a treat! The interiors were room-after-room of beautifully curated antiques, but it was the grounds and wraparound porch that really captured our hearts. Perfect for exploring, dining alfresco, or just great conversation from the comfort of the wicker rocking chairs. Thanks, again, Jack and Yvonne, for making our stay so wonderful!

Great B & B experience! Yvonne and Jack are wonderful hosts too. The decor is lovely. I look forward to having an event in the Madison House. Thanks, Yvonne, I enjoyed our morning talks.

Good food and friendly people

Absolutely gorgeous (especially the Christmas decorations!) and the staff is so friendly. Food was great, too!
