Locking the gate between 10pm and 8pm is ridiculous and unsafe. In the event of an emergency one would be held up for too long simply trying to leave.nnNeeds to stop.
I love it! Either reserve a lakeside spot far in advance or come EARLY! on a M-Th and hope to get a first come-first served lakeside place. Great fishing, paddleboarding-oh-after Labor Day-Mem. Day weekends some of the loops are closed and are super for family bicycling! Just about 5-6 miles away is the southern terminus of the American Tobacco Trail as well. The nearby gas station at Wislonville-yuk-bring your own stove and cook your own breakfast!!! $32 for two adults and a five year old-yuk!
