I was just on here.. I was waited on by a lovely looking person who repeatedly called me “sir” now I wasn’t wearing a wig and I do have a bit of a deep voice but I also have on a black dress, a rainbow necklace and a rainbow covid mask in the pride flag style. Now I don’t think Alacia was calling me “sir” to purposely be insulting .. but I honestly don’t know anymore really . I am absolutely sure that this repeatedly happens to me at like almost every Cvs I go to... I’ve repeatedly complained I had a previous incident on Boylston st where the same lady called me sir 11 times in a row as I was shopping and every time I was completely dressed. Now I would stop going to these places but there is way more cvs than Walgreens. Cvs should know though that my insurance pays like $2500 a month for my meds and based on better treatment at Walgreens I make sure they get that $. I’m fine with people not thinking I’m a woman but why MUST YOU TELL ME DAILY?

CVS doesn't add to the neighbourhood feel, and is unscrupulous in their prescription policies (read the fine print). There is usually always a homeless person or beggar outside, and the lighting is a bit harsh on the eyes. It's also not as cheap as convenience/drug stores can be, but it does the trick. Location is great right by the T stop. An 8 minute walk up Charles Street on the left side will bring you to Gary Drug, the family run local favourite drug store with interesting products and old feel charm.
