Everything was great. The room was stocked with everything you needed and the fireplace kept us so warm on one of the coldest nights in KC in years. The breakfast was to die for and you can not beat their hospitality. We look forward to coming again.
What a beautiful house! Unfortunately we picked the coldest day of the century to stay here, but we stayed very warm and comfy in front of the fireplace all evening. Then woke up to a fabulous breakfast the next morning. The location couldn't have been better. Very close to everything in town that we wanted to visit. Great hosts were very friendly and accomadating. Will hopefully return again under warmer climate.
I spent the night here in their cottage on October 23, 2020. They experience was incredible. I highly recommend the romantic special package. 2 bottles of wine, chocolate covered berries plate, cheese & cracker plate, and a bouquet of fresh flowers. The jacuzzi tub took a little to get going, but was so relaxing. The private porch was secluded and clean. The breakfast in the morning was the beat part. Yogurt parfait, bacon, sausage, and etc. They came in with gloves and masks on which made feel safer known they were following health department guidelines. The front desk fellow even helped me that night. After a long set up, I parked in the wrong zone. He came over and told me where to park to avoid a ticket. Wonderful. Will definitely be back.
First time staying at a B&B. Updated rooms without losing the historical charm. Breakfast was excellent (we saw local eggs being delivered the day before) & location is phenomenal. Across the street from O’Malley’s & about two blocks from historic downtown. Owners are extremely nice. Highly recommend making a destination stay
My husband and I stayed in the Lewis & Clark room. We were impressed with all the detail put into that room to reflect the travels/adventures of Lewis & Clark from maps to period objects that they would've used. It made our stay feel like an adventure. We had impeccable service and a delicious breakfast in the morning. Our bed was very comfortable as well. Thank you for helping us celebrate our wedding anniversary!!
