We just needed a quick getaway. A break. A breather. To step away from the current insanity ud83dude01. But we only had one night. This little cottage was the perfect escape. It’s upscale charm and cozy comforts along with some great restaurants, shops and friendly charm of Weston were like a salve. The first thing we did was take in the cottage. It’s beautiful! Then we unpacked, went across the street for lunch on the large outdoor deck at Avalon, then downtown to hit up Cactus Creek, the candle shop, Celtic Ranch and McCormick on Main. My husband found a fun yard game in the hardware store. The cotttage has a little side yard so it was perfect. We had another amazing meal, dinner at the Vineyard on the outside patio , then listened to some live outside music at Weston Wine Co. We topped the evening off with sitting on the swings on the front porch of the cottage listening to the music and having more wine. Wine was a theme of the day along with lots of walking, great shops and eating some amazing meals. Did I mention there’s a large hot tub at the cottage. What a great day and evening. Thank you Cottage on Main for a pretty perfect 24 hours. We’ll be back! Your new friends, Pam and Chris.
