Always helpful and courteous. Don't upsell or anything else outrageous. Great experience, every time. Just today I stopped in because my seat fell off the post. I had recovered the bracket from the street but was missing the bolt. Mechanic went through a pile of bolts and found one that threaded with the bracket perfectly. He could have just had me buy a new seat post but he made the effort and saved me a few bucks. That's the kind of service you should expect. I will frequent these guys so long as I'm in Boston. Kudos.

Needed to get my back wheel fixed and a general bike tune up. It was by far the fastest turn around I’ve ever experienced with any bike shop and the entire process was very smooth. Everyone was helpful and straight to the point about what I needed. I’m glad this is the closest bike shop to me - highly recommend!

This is a great local bike shop. I would highly recommend coming here for repairs, etc.nnI recently took my 2 year old $400 bike to Urban Cycles for a full tune-up after storing it in a covered outdoor storage area (I know, I know). They quoted me almost $400 and claimed almost every part needed replacement or else it wouldn't be safe to ride. They would not budge on the quote or amount of work that supposedly needed to be done.nnSo, I walked my bike down to Community Bike Supply, where I previously had good experience with basic tune-ups. I gave them the prior quote, and they said they could either salvage or replace the parts and do a full tune up for $180. When I went to pick up the bike, the actual cost was only $160, and my bike is now in great condition. Only 2 spokes, the chain, and the freewheel needed replacing. I've been riding it many miles since and have had zero issues.nnThis place is also much friendlier than Urban Cycles!

Community bike supply is not only fast with repairs and helpful with purchases, but everyone who works there is kind and smiling. There is such a sense of welcoming when walking into community bike supply that you cannot find anywhere else. I recommend going there to everyone, even if you just need to fill your tires :)
