Hotel is fine. Guests were the issue. Appears there was a basketball tournament in town, so tons of teens. That would have been fine if they had been mildly quiet. They were talking at the tops of their lungs long into the early morning hours, and refused the urging from hotel staff to keep things down.nThe hotel tried some, but in the end we had to check out as the kids made this not ok.nAlso, nearly no one is wearing masks.

Really nice hotel. Great brazilian steakhouse next door. We just stayed for one night on the way to Arkansas, but would stay again if staying for a longer time in Springfield.

Discriminated against. We were coming in from out of town to celebrate our anniversary. Because we hadn't changed our drivers license address from Springfield -we were refused. That was their blanket reason. Managers overall rule per se. Then why not call us before we drove up. We did use a Springfield PO Box as our address - Came into the hotel, was told we couldn't stay due to others in the area tearing up things so we had to pay the price? I don't think that was a true reason. One they could have called before we appeared, they had all the information necessary. Even wrote anniversary on reason for coming. Two she wouldn't have asked for a credit card if it was an overall rule - for problems such as this I wait to pay when I go to places. This offended her. Three- if it was a manager overall rule I wouldn't have been interrigated about why we were there - it would have been a standard no.. she literally gave our room away.right in front of us. I don't know if it was because we used booking.com or what but it was something. Everything but my shoes were designer.nnThat's it! beware of the shoes!nnDon't waste your time here. You might have an eyelash out of place and be left scrambling for a place to stay. They don't care if you sleep in your car..on an icy night ...when you did everything right to make a reservation and show up.

My experience with this hotel was great. We had no problem checking in even though it was late and we didn't have a reservation. The staff was so nice and they didn't bother us. I liked that check out was at noon which gave my family a little bit more time to sleep since we were traveling from El Paso to Ohio and we were tired. The room was very clean and quiet.
