Let's be honest - this isn't a 4 star hotel. It's simple - you don't have a gym, you don't have a pool, you don't have an in - house restaurant, and you don't get a free breakfast.nnHowever, the staff have ALWAYS been 5 star. They are so helpful, understanding, flexible, and always willing to assist you with any and every need. I'm traveling for business, and their rates are one of the best in town.nnThe rooms are usually clean. If I ever have an issue with the room, they will gladly come up and help/fix/replace what is needed. Granted, the furniture is a bit outdated. However, the beds are comfortable enough that I get a decent night's (day's) sleep.nnGreat location. I've got a gas station, several different restaurants, and Cox South all within walking distance.nnThe owners of the hotel should look into updating the rooms. I think it would help draw up more business. Free breakfast would be nice. I'm just happy they have a washer/dryer available.nnThey will always have my business.

Called ahead and set up a reservation for a handicap room with a kitchenette. We were assured we would have a clean room with all the necessary items we needed. We needed to check in later in the evening. Well upon getting checking in , the room didn't have anything in it had been told and for whatever reason only maybe half the lights worked in the room. Our room had the main door on the other side of the wall and it slams every time it is opened which seemed to be pretty much non stop. The fridge had to be turned on and there was old bread, tortillas and open Mayo in the cabinet. Probably why there was such a odd smell. We called the front desk a few times and didn't get anyone to pick up. The front desk person was outside smoking and taking a personal call. I had finally just went to find someone. We never got any so we could use the stove top or microwave. Was a complete waste of money and the stay was terrible. Absolutely won't be staying here again. We have to stay in the area for work often and we are just going to Air Bnb from now on. It's cheaper and a much better all around experience.

It was gross and scary people knocked on the door all night. No hot water or hand soap. Room smelled and light shorted out. Heater made sounds and it shook the whole room. Window was open when we entered the room. There was hairs all over the room.

I just want to start this out by saying that this isn’t the worst place you could stay.nnI had recently moved back to Springfield from Florida and my new house wasn’t done being built. Upon check-in, I was told locals were not allowed to rent, and I still had a Missouri drivers license with a Springfield address. I explained the situation to the lady checking me in, she accepted my story and said she would make notes on the reservation so no one would say anything. That was kind of her. I went to my room, which was clean. However, the furniture in the room was scratched up, old, and VERY dated. The beds were firm, but clean, there were plenty of towels, and the overall appearance was acceptable. The hallways smelt like canned ravioli, which was unappealing and the carpeting could use a good cleaning. The laundromat and vending area was nice and everything was functional. This hotel has a very good location and low prices. That unfortunately comes with dated rooms and ran down furniture. That being said, it was still clean and doable. This isn’t a terrible place to stay, but it could definitely use some upgrading. All of my interactions with the employees have been pleasant and I think they’re all very helpful.nnPros:nLocationnPricenLaundromat on sitenStaffnLinen CleanlinessnnCons:nSmellnFurniturenDated fixturesnHallway/entry way cleanliness
