We love this Marriott brand. We have a large family, and the two bedroom suites with a pull out couch are perfect. And the mattresses are perfectly firm.
Beautiful remodeled spacious suite. Cooked breakfast by friendly host. Close to medical facilities and shopping. Easy access to main roads. Good food nearby. Very satisfied will be staying here again. Did hear helicopters fly by at times.
This hotel is newly remodeled and looks just beautiful. They are extremely strict on their COVID rules and regulations. A complaint I have is that they aren’t allowing local residents to stay at their hotel. We were fortunate that the system didn’t catch us in time so they allowed us to stay. I disagree with this because there are plenty of reasons that a local could need a hotel for a few days and I don’t think the staff should be allowed to interrogate us on our reasons for staying without good reasoning. Lovely place, but difficult rules.
The staff are nice, but seemed a little stressed or spread thin. I didn't receive my Elite welcome gift, like I should. Front staff seemed over whelmed with just making a plastic key. Management needs to send in some mystery shoppers to evaluate the situation here.
Our stay was horrible! When I booked the room, I specifically asked if we could watch the Chiefs playoff game on their TVs. They told me absolutely we could get it. My family from Missouri and our Kansas family met their because it was a halfway point for both of us. My son and husband are diehard Chiefs fans. I had brought snacks and we were excited to sit back, watch the game, eat snacks and, enjoy our time together. Once we got in the room and all set up to watch the game, we find out that if fact, we couldn’t get the game on. So four of us loaded up and found a bar down the road to watch the game, which was already in progress. This defeated the purpose of us being together. There was no remote to the tv in the bedroom. No sheets for the sofa bed. Dirty dishes in the cabinet. Heating and air didn’t work properly. When I spoke to the manager, the best he could do was $40 off my bill, which was piss poor, just like this hotel. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!!
