Went there to get some information today on my medicines. The girls that work the counter were helpful. But the pharmacist that came over and interrupt are conversation we were having was very rude. I ask the pharmacist about my medicines and my insurance to find out why It was taking three days to get medicines. And why they keep mixing up my regular insurance with my Workers Comp insurance She said she didn’t know and it was a third party when it came to medicine getting approved. She also told me that they have to order my medicine they didn’t have it. I said okay and was it the brand name on the prescription as the doctor told me it would be. Because the other medicine was not working. They told me no that I have to go back to doctor and get it in writing. So I said okay. Not their fought on that. So I go back to doctor again clear across town. Doctor tried putting prescription in and the computer kick it back. So she had to hand write it. So I took it back to them again. They call me 45 min later to tell me that they can’t get it. I had to call another pharmacy. So I called a couple places, they said the same thing. So then I call back to talk to pharmacist to get them to give me my first prescription. The pharmacist on the phone told me I shouldn’t be telling doctor what kind of medicine I can take. Which I thought that was very unprofessional being the other medicine was causing me issues so the doctor wanted to try a medicine that work in the passed. So then I tried to get her to just fill the the prescription I brought the first time. She just wanted to argue with me and say they couldn’t get the medicine brand name or generics brand. I told her the prescription was what I was already taking. She said I needed to go back to doctor to get another medicine. I just gave up. I have been waiting three weeks since a car accident to get a doctor appointment to get a medicine that works. And now I’m still waited till next week. The pharmacist made me fill like she could care less. No bedside manner or help at all. I’m only giving this place 2 stars because my wife likes the counter girls because they have been very helpful to her.nnPs. They knew what medicine I was going to get. They could of told me when I was there the first time it wasn’t available.
Pharmacist at the drive through window on 12/28 at appx 9:30am was INCREDIBLY rude. Simply asked about COVID testing availability and she starts going off at us, “YOU SHOULD BE AT MERITUS URGENT CARE YOU ARE AT THE WRONG PLACE.” Gets loud and tells my boyfriend to go to another store. Wouldn’t give us a chance to speak, we ended up just driving away as she was standing there ranting. Won’t use this Walgreens again. Save your time and go somewhere else.
Called for a refill and even with an automated answering service, the easiest refill call I’ve ever made. Very helpful & friendly too.
The company has completely reorganized this office. Most of the staff, that worked here for years while it was part of Meritus, have all left. They're attention to detail and human interaction has suffered. Unfortunately I must take certain medications. It comes in prefilled infections. Unfortunately they gave me a dosage 10X different from my prescription. Every box had the correct label, but the unopened boxes contained the wrong medicine. Each box had two sets initials (I assume for verification). Luckily I noticed the boxes were the wrong color before I started injecting myself. Of course they were horrified at the mistake and fixed it, but that shows an amazing break down on all levels. If those boxes weren't yellow instead of the normally black ones, really bad things would have happened.
Drive thru window is not convenient. Service is inconsistent. Have had prescriptions billed incorrectly. Customer service can be good depending on the pharmacy tech. Some techs are rude and unprofessional.
