For the price $$$$$, you'd think this place was a 5 star establishment. However, it is a mediocre 3 star hotel. Coffee and a work out room are the amenities. Not sure why they don't have a business center. Surely it can't be due to Covid.nnA computer is no more dirty than the sticky floor that greeted me upon arrival to my room. Is the furniture in the common areas cleaned each time someone used the seats? Not from what I was able to witness. Also, why have a wobbly 3 top (table) in the bar area? It's an easy fix. It's not like you needed the tables. It's an example of a lack of attention to detail.nnOh, and mandatory valet? Yikes...prepare for wallet shock.nnThere is nothing (IMHO) that sets this hotel a part from a Motel 6. Was surprised to discover this is a Marriott branded establishment. Okay, I will give you all a few kudos...the pillows were the best I've slept on in any hotel. The front end staff were really great. The check in gentlemen I met after a VERY long day of flight delays, was nice enough to give us a few fruit bars to tide us cover until morning.nnBut, I will not return.nnYou get once chance to make a good first impression. In this case, you missed the mark.

Quick update for this review. At first I was given a room that hadn't been cleaned yet (the second room was clean). Second, they have removed any credits for breakfast that you used to get with status and again, there's no lounge. The restaurant (Pusser's) hours have shifted - they now open at 0800 (which unfortunately is too late for me thanks to meetings at 0800) and was informed that there is no room service like there used to be. As with most hotels in this COVID era, there's no daily cleaning unless you ask for it. Hotel has been renovated and the glimpse of the dirty room that I got seemed nice. Unfortunately, the second room I was assigned was full of handicap access amenities and doesn't have the same appointments as the other rooms (bathtub vs shower, etc.) for further review. Full disclosure, I am a Marriott Rewards Ambassador elite level.nnOriginal Review: The Annapolis waterfront hotel is a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel. For those with status, there is no lounge access but they do provide a $14.50 credit for breakfast. The only water to speak of in your rooms is a $2.50 bottle, but if you ask the front desk they might give you a free bottle.

A very nice overnight stay. The hotel is very nicely decorated in a waterfront motif. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. With the right rooms the view is breathtaking.

If you’re lucky, Meghan will be working at the front desk to greet you. She was for me and was incredibly polite and professional. Clean and bright rooms with great views in all directions.
