This little hideway is tucked within a quiet waterfront community near Edgewater. We were greeted as we drove up the drive by a beautiful mid-century home with a covered circle drive at the front door and beautiful slate flooring and metal and slate stairs in the main hall. The owner, Tiffany, her husband and their brother in law live on the upper most floor, with the main floor and lower floor having all of the guest rooms. On entering the house, we met their two miniature schnauzers that were more than happy to have guests. Despite the uncertainty of traveling during the current times, we felt safe and we're more than able to stay distant from folks during our stay when we wanted to. We stayed two nights in the River Hill room. It is on the lower level with views of the river from the many windows. But it is better to get out on one of the outdoor areas whether the covered deck off the kitchen, the paved area down near the lower rooms, or down by the water on the dock or really anywhere around the property. The whole stay feel kind of like going to your extended family's home or maybe a good friends parents house. Once the rain let up on our second day, we were able to take one of the kayaks out for a bit. Everything about our stay was so relaxing but I can't neglect to mention that the breakfast was bar none the best I have had in a long time. Everything was made to order from a menu you just send a text with a photo of the form and what time you want to eat and it's ready for you when you come to the kitchen. There were so many options, I was truly blown away. I definitely hope to go back again.

So much fun that the only time we left over the two days we were there was to pick up food and bring it back to eat on the amazing patio overlooking the river. We enjoyed kayaking, paddle-boarding, and watching so many boats. We also got to see bald eagles, herons, and beautiful sunsets. Breakfast was WONDERFUL - Tiffany is an amazing host and cook. We stayed in the River Room, which was lovely. Having the separate entrance was wonderful - we were right off the patio and could get to the pier whenever the urge to be near the water hit. The view was lovely - nothing like waking up to a wall of windows overlooking the river. We will be back - thank you!

We spent 1 night here on our way to the Eastern Shore. It’s actually a very large family house converted to B&B that’s been operating for 14 years. It’s situated right on South River.nnThere is plenty of convenient parking.nnWe stayed in the Arundel Room. It was huge (700+ sf) including a sitting area with a balcony overlooking the river. It had a king size bed, sofa, 5 chairs, 2 TV, and excellent WiFi.nnThe bathroom is immense. It’s divided into 2 rooms with separate vanities. There is a shower, but, oddly, no tub. There were lots of fluffy towels and full array of amenities.nnBreakfast was made to order. In the evening we were given a menu with lots of options. We could select our desired time for service. It was delicious. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I had an amazing stay at Laurel Grove Inn!! The scenery is beautiful and breathtaking. Very relaxing and serene. Tiffany welcomed us from day one, and was very courteous and friendly throughout our time there! She's an amazing hostess and made us feel comfortable. We can't wait to go back. It's like a home away from home. Thank you so much, Tiffany!!n❤❤❤

The inn is a handsome structure on a hill overlooking the scenic river. Facilities are first rate: we had a large bedroom with a small sitting room attached, with its own river view. We used one of the Inn's boats - a two-person kayak - for a serene paddling voyage. Breakfasts were delicious on each of our two mornings there. Tiffany and her family made us feel most welcome. We are very satisfied and hope to return... with friends.
