COVID-19 testing here is very safe, fast and free ! My third time today. I have never waited behind more than two cars. Create an appointment through their website, they won't ask for money or insurance or doctors orders. 100% no contact, drive through testing, like a bank teller. Not same day results but, within usually 2 days via email. The Rite Aid website will take you to the Project Baseline site. Roughly 10 minute sign up. They will pass you the swab and test tube through a drawer. Lean your head back and slowly push that swab back all the way back to your trachea. Leave it there 10 seconds, repeat with the other nostril. Look it's not the most comfortable thing in the world, but not painful, it may make you sneeze (sneeze to your right !) You can practice at home with a Q-tip but push it all the way in. I would much rather do it myself then someone else. It's a more accurate test then these rapid test that only go into your nose 1-2 inches. Wear your mask. Look around you before you roll down your windows and lock your doors, but safe enough area. You never know if someone might try to ask you for some change. Set your air to recycle, windows up. Have ID & e-mail verification ready so they can read from your phone (a tablet, even better.) Not every Rite Aid is a self test, check the website.

I am a long time rite aid customer from another area Rite Aid. Love it. At that site, shelves were always stocked, personnel friendly, and ready for business. This rite aid, although newer, is somewhat harder to access as it’s located near a busy intersection and stopping is a challenge. It is also competing with nearby Walgreens, CVS, and Shoppers Pharmacies - more popular by far! And definitely more accessible.nnBecause of this, you always see very few cars in their parking lot except on days the competing locations are closed. Maybe now the new apartments are built across the street, there will be more foot traffic. At least in the drive through, there will be! Love that feature.

Gave all information including my number and the time I wanted to pick up rx. Wasn’t ready and I received no call. And the girl behind the counter said they tried to call but the number wasn’t good. Then said it kept going to voicemail. Well that’s because I’m at WORK. my phone is on Do not disturb, leave a message. And I saw no missed call btw. Then he said it will be ready in 5 mins. I left and I’ll try to pick up tomorrow. The rite aid on Westland blvd, Walgreens pharmacy, is the best.

if you ever need medication please DO NOT pick this Rite Aid! When you call they do not pick up and when they do they are full of excuses. And when they put you on hold they hang up like they don’t know how to operate a damn phone. My father has been waiting 2 weeks for his medication and they claim the doctor has not been answering his phone, but we just called today and the doctor picked up immediately and told us nobody called about the medication.
