Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Woburn

The rooms are immaculate. My favorite part is the hotel staff. This place is truly customer service oriented. Eileen, Angel, Shantay and Gail made me feel as if I was a friend. They are very friendly and will truly go out of their way with big smiles, a friendly welcome and anything you need. I wish more places would train their staff that way.

We stayed at the Residence Inn, a one bedroom suite, from 10/2/2020-10/4/2020. It was our daughter’s wedding weekend in Boston and the stay in Woburn, about 20 minutes away from Boston, couldn’t have been more perfect. We did not know what to expect stating at a hotel during these COVID times. Well, the Residence Inn surpassed our expectations. As the hotel always includes breakfast, in order to be pandemic safe, each guest would just check off what they wanted for breakfast and someone downstairs would fill up our breakfast requests and fill it up in a paper bag, and then we would take our breakfast goodies to our room. Here’s where the kitchen and table was ideal to eat during this pandemic. Also, during this pandemic, no housekeeper would come to your room to clean. We were happier with this knowing that during this pandemic, we didn’t want anyone unknown to clean our room. For breakfast, there was a big selection to choose from- coffee, orange juice, bagels, yogurt, danish, hot chocolate, cereals, milk, etc. We often asked for extra towels, soaps and shampoo (Paul Mitchell). The staff delivered these items quickly and just left it in front of our door. Staff were super friendly. So, if you want a pandemic safe hotel to stay at reasonable prices and near Boston, I can’t rave enough about the Residence Inn at Woburn. There was also an indoor pool and small gym that you reserved (during COVID) 24 hours in advance each day you wanted it. Enjoy! Stay at the Residence Inn. You won’t be disappointed!

Very nice hotel! Our stay was very comfortable and any requests made were met promptly. Customer service was exemplary. Grab and Go breakfast had several offerings. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking in this area.

We rented a handicapped room one month before our due date to arrive. We stopped by the inn two weeks before our arrival to make sure the room would accommodate me, I was having hip replacement surgery and I was due to check in the very next day after my surgery. We were shown the handicapped room and we were very happy with it. We planned to bring our groceries, etc. for our 4 night stay while I was recovering from the surgery. To our horror, when we checked in the day after my surgery, the front desk clerk said they had given our room away the day before and that it couldn't be cleaned for 24 hrs.! Needless to say, we had to stay in a regular room without handicapped accessibilities. The original handicapped room we rented was ready for us the next day but that meant we had to move all of our belongings again including food, clothing, medical supplies, etc. The managers were not too compassionate about our situation. This is so wrong to inconvenience a handicapped person in this way and for management to not think it a big deal.

We stayed here 4 years ago for 2 weeks and it was a very pleasant experience. Our stay was comfortable and the staff were beyond helpful and friendly. I liked the variety of their breakfast. The location is also great, Target and Starbucks are down the road and there is a mall and plenty of restaurants within 2 miles. Totally recommend it!
