My husband and I are from Twin Falls, Idaho and traveled there for a surgery I had done next door to the hotel. I was told that there was only a sweet left that had a separate living area and the rate was either 89.00 or 98.00 a night. We went ahead and reserved the room for two nights. We didn't go to check in until after 3pm and then it took us 15 min. to get our key to work. When we got into the room it was a huge mess and the bed wasn't made meaning the room hadn't been cleaned yet. We went back down to tell the front desk and didn't ever get an apologize and everyone has to wear a mask but the manager did not? I am wondering why she was more important then her guests and her employees? The next room we were given I over heard one of the girls say that the carpets were just shampooed but we were given that room anyways. To say the least we had to make sure our shoes were on the whole stay since the carpets were soaking wet. How is this acceptable when we are paying that much a night? I will never stay at that hotel again and I will make sure not to recommend it to any friends or family members. It made my stay after having surgery very uncomfortable.
For the most part, the staff members were good. When I first got there to check in I waited for about 20 minutes with no other people in the lobby, the ladies at the front desk were doing something else. The first room we were assigned to was stinky and very run down. I went out the side door by where my room was and there was a huge group of people standing next the door smoking with a huge sign on the door that says no smoking. Also, there was a sign that said do not prop this door open and it was propped open all the time. We mentioned this to the front desk staff and they said "yeah, it happens because that's where the smoking station is". Didn't offer to change it or anything. We went outside to carry our stuff in from our cars and there were some very 'sketchy' people just outside those doors. I had my 2 year old daughter with me and did not feel comfortable in the slightest bit. I was actually quite scared knowing that we were going to be there for a week. My husband finally went to talk to the front desk staff and asked if they could move our room to the other side of the hotel where we were away from all of those people. Once we got to the other room I felt a little bit better as far as our safety goes. I also asked to get a roll in bed for my daughter to have something to sleep on during our stay and was told that it was going to be an extra 15 dollars a night. That's insane, I had to go out and by a twin size air mattress so that she wasn't sleeping on the floor. Over all, I was not pleased with our stay.
This hotel was very disappointing and I left very unhappy. Where do I even start, after a day of hiking we were very tired and arrived to the hotel check in area this was about 1am and the check in process took about 45 minutes (Keep in mind we had already made the reservation online). Second, this was a nightmare stay and I am not exaggerating so in the middle of the night me and my friends got woken up by a very creepy loud screaming and this went on for about good 30 minutes. It was very weird and scary that I think I will be having nightmares for life. Later in the day we heard the same screaming coming from the room across from us. (It was so weird and creepy we didn’t report it because we were just ready to leave this hotel). Third, when we checked in we had asked the lady in the front about the breakfast and she informed us that we could only get “to go” items granolas, oatmeal etc. Well when we were checking out we asked if we can have the “to go“ breakfast and the lady said that they didn’t have to go breakfast. We had to tell her that it was already explained to us that we can only get to go items and she then said “oh yeah” and gave us some granolas. This is false advertisement from the hotel, they need to remove the “breakfast included” from there. Overall, this place was a nightmare and for the price that we paid this was so disappointing. I will NEVER recommend this place it is seriously the worst hotel experience I have ever had.
Cheap, room was mostly fine although the shower didn't drain properly and the bathtub was gross. I got woken up at 12am one night because the fire alarm went off. The lady at the front desk said it was a test, which doesn't make any sense. Also the day staff were fine, but for whatever reason at night none of the concierges ever wore a mask.
Why is Melissa asking me about my job, and about my health information. Why is that being questioned? Melissa doesn't need to know all my health information. Melissa needs to not be asking me questions about it. Melissa is a horrible human being.
Why was the woman after me complaining that there was hair on her floor and dried soap on the bathroom counter that had not been cleaned. Why did I stay here again, after finding hair in my room from the night before.
Apparently Melissa is very thorough in asking if I have a job and about my health information, but Melissa is not thorough about her rooms being cleaned.
