Decent rooms, with great views of the mountains. We had sunset views through our rooms. Missing basic amenities like coffee makers, microwave and refrigerator. Hot water does run out at times. Good customer service at the reception.

I had a great experience at the resort. The view is unmatched. All the rooms face directly the valley facing the west and makes it a perfect location for sunset. The room service was quick. The only complaint will be that there is no wifi nor refrigerator and microwave in the room.

I've had better experiences for $50 a night than we had at Skyland Resort. Their hot water capacity is not sufficient for the number of guests they have (even during the pandemic). The fans/lights in the rooms might not work. They provide near nothing for bedding. And, the worst part for us, their walls are thinner than cardboard. The people in the room next to us were having some problems (all of which we could hear) and we were sympathetic, but we had to ask them to keep it down because you could hear everything, including people on the other end of a phone call. Most rooms have a paper thin door to an adjoining room which doesn't help. You can literally hear every word spoken through the walls. One of the worst experiences I've ever had in lodging and it cost $300/night?! Outrageous. We brought this up in the morning as we checked out (luckily we only booked for one night), not a single care in the world from the front desk. They kept saying we should come back because our room has a great view, as if that makes a difference when everything else is so low quality. Don't stay here. You can get a much better stay in Lydia.

Clean and comfortable rooms with a great view. There is an open space and common area to sit and relax, but no place for a fire pit or grill. Still, there are other places around the park, such as Pinnacles Picnic Grounds about 8 miles north where grills are installed.nThe staff was very attentive and abided by the CDC guidelines for COVID-19 risk mitigation. The restaurant offers take-out meals to allow for reduced seating capacity in the dining room and to accommodate those that would feel more comfortable eating at an alternate location.nThere are plenty of hiking trails and overlooks to stop by, stretch your legs and enjoy the beauty of the location.

Rooms were cozy. Lovely views. Reception staff great. Cafe staff and restaurant host were unfriendly. Had to wait 45 minutes to get into our room as the lock was broken and they couldn’t fix it and then had to move us to another room. reception were apologetic but didn’t offer any kind of partial refund or gesture which I thought was a bit disappointing given their maintenance issue wasted 45 mins of our time.
