Hiked the AT in 2017 and stayed at Open Arms. Allison was an amazing host, even took us to a community play she was in! Cannot recommend this hostelnenough!
My host Allison is very nice. Staying at this hostel felt like i was home and very welcoming. I would definitely recommend others to stay here as well if they are in the area!!
I've stayed here twice when passing through the area. Allison is very welcoming and a great host! You can have full use of the kitchen and there's a nice clean shower to use. Linens, towels, and coffee are also included which is nice for a hostel. You can't beat the price and hospitality here! Will definitely stay here again next time I pass through.
Very warm and friendly
Allison is one of the nicest and most accommodating hostesses I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Shuttle service was great, and the in town ride for dinner was perfect. The hostel itself has a wonderful patio and clean dry bunks. Inexpensive resupply options available as well which was awesome. Morning coffee and ride back to the trail. Great value and great experience.
