Me and my boyfriend just traveled to Virginia and stayed at the South Court Inn. I LOVED it, it was so clean and safe during these crazy Covid times. The owners where great and took all percussions while still making you feel at home. The breakfast was to die for and they even had homemade baked goods everyday. When we arrived we where greeted, given a tour and where informed of all the dos and don'ts in the area. I would recommended staying to anyone looking for the perfect get away.
My husband and I stayed here 2 weeks ago for a long weekend. The owners were so wonderful! They were so attentive to detail, thoughtful, and nice. You can tell they enjoy having guests and love their business, to the benefit of the guests. I especially loved the handmade sweet treats they left around for guests to enjoy. The advice and tips they gave us about nearby attractions was so helpful. It was such a comfortable and peaceful stay. The breakfasts were such a great way to start the day and reason enough to stay there. We are definitely staying there again!
Awesome Services. Up to date bathrooms.. Great Home away from Home, private, Good Chef cooked fresh tasty foods.and xtra pastries. Inn keepers served us well.. My first experience with a B&B. I will def go backn#Superb!
We've not stayed, but visited several years ago. A native of Luray, I am curious to know when the house was built. My aunt's sister lived there. Such a lovely house!
Room very nice and breakfasts excellent. First BandB experience so maybe I am just not assertive enough but home advertised as non-smoking but guests smoked just outside our bedroom window and we could smell the smoke. Also, those folks turned the front porch light on to go smoke during the night and early morning- didn't turn light off so shone in our bedroom all night the first night.nNot knowing house etiquette, we didn't go into hallway to turn light off. We got up and turned light off on second night so we could sleep.nHostess very helpful with suggestions re meals, activities.nSnacks and drinks plentiful.nWill try more similar lodging before deciding how I feel about bed and breakfasts! Concept is peaceful and stressless but can't control who else stays with you.nNice people but disrespectful habit.
