Everyone was extra friendly. The Covid breakfast packages were great and very generous. Well run and managed; my husband even noted that the housekeepers hall trolleys were well thought out & organized. Free pets is a huge bonus and just a short ride to VT campus. I felt it was clean and room.nOnly thing we would like to see is fans added to bathrooms.
Stayed February 2021. When I went down to take my 76 year old father to supper, the front desk clerk was not wearing a mask and there were three people standing in front of the desk not wearing masks. One of whom turned and coughed at us as we tried to move past out the front doors. The manager when informed stated that they could not control who wore a mask or did not. One of the people not wearing a mask was his employee!!! Total disregard for his guests safety. Obviously did not take the situation seriously. Never stay here again and do not recommend to anyone else. Imagine how little care he gives to cleanliness and security if he reacts this way during a pandemic.
DONT STAY HERE! HOTEL IS LIES AND BS! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERES YOUR PROOF AND ALWAYS CHECK YOUR CARDS!!! $67 a night right? Nope BS!! TOTAL CAME OUT TO BE $257 WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION!! FRAUDULENT CLAIM WAS FILED SO BEWARE!!!
Be aware there are 2 Comfort Inns in this area. One is right off I-81 (Christiansburg - Radford), and this location (Christiansburg - Blacksburg). Both are clean with nice courteous staffs. Surprised to see Fox News listed on channel guide but the only channel blocked. Comfort Inns are individually owned. So whomever made this decision as your right; as my right, I will not be returning. This decision is made out of fear of anyone (left, right, Democrat, Republican) controlling what I watch or the narrative of a topic. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.
Comfortable clean . Spacious room . Good WiFi but needs re log in every now and then . Hot breakfast. Large fridge with freezer . Nice front desk . 24 he coffee that’s kind of good . Equivalent to MArriot courtyard. Working hdmi . Walmart chipotle closed by
