Every time we have been to the Urgent Care center we have received excellent care. Everyone is so friendly and helpful.

When my daughter was diagnosed with a serious bone disease at the age of 3 Dr. Westfield was the one who found it and got her into peds Ortho the very next day!! She wasn't even the provider that seen her that day! grateful for the care that this office gives my family.

I have been going here for over 10 years. Dr. Green always answers any questions I might have. Also listens to any of my concerns. This makes me feel included in my healthcare decisions.

I don't even know where to start with this. My Dr. at MEDICAL ASSOCIATES OF LOUISA is not a nice lady. At times she can be rude and very dismissive. Things you would not expect from YOUR PERSONAL DOCTOR. Well, recently i needed sometime off work and I went to her and was telling her what was happening and that i need to step away from work for a moment to get my mind right and she offered me first 2days off. I mentioned that I need more time so i can go talk to a therapist so they can take of the from there to keep me out of work. Well, she offered 2weeks ok 2yrs of so back. she told me that she could take me out of work for longer than that. However, I did not take that time because I gave the medicine time to help and so I stayed at work. And now that asked for some help she offered 2wks. If i mentioned that i may want to harm myself i still dont think she would have provided me the help that i needed. Her mood is off and on sometimes nice sometimes rude. And everyone has there days so you know i am very passive person so i brush a lot of stuff off. However, no that i see someone he mentioned for me not to hold things in and its okay to voice how i feel. The reason I have to write this post today is because i made an appointment and i will take full responsibility that I got the time wrong. They said my time was for 3:00 and I thought it was 3:30 pm. So i show up on time so i thought. I nevered missed an appointment or never not call to reschedule if i was not going to make it. Oh and did i mention that i drive an 1hour and a half bc its not easy to switch doctors when you work the hours they seem to work as well. Dr. Wendy Westfield knows this and she still refused to see me. She knows my history and why I come to see her and yet she turned me away for a mix up on the times. Okay. She has no compassion for her patients or let me just speak for myself. If you dont like helping ppl when they need help not when you decide to see them. You never know what is going on in someones life. and to be turned away. Lets just say. I hope she does not turn away the wrong patient bc you never know once again what they are going thru. i am tired of being passive so this is now what is happening. The receptionist stated that she is only accepting walk-ins but yet i was able to make an appointment as well i was told that her 3:30, 4:00, and 4:30 patients were already in the back being seen. Now you tell me who shows up an hour before time to see this doctor. you are hardly waiting wen it is your time. so i dont understand. If i am wellling to wait for you to take care of your patients and see if you can squeeze me in. I mean their was only one man waiting in the waiting area and he got called to go in the back while i was standing there as well as another patient comes out and leaves. So you are tell me that I could not be seen. Hahaha. Where is the compassion, understanding, or empathy I mean something from your doctor that went to school to help ppl. And while I am on here I hate that I cant be seen for multiple things at the same time I am always told that I have to make another appointment to address something else. Well, If this doesnt sound like you are in it for the money then I dont know what is. I am soo disappointed in this practice. There were 3 receptionist behind the counter and 3 ladies in the back office. Do ya think anyone stepped out from there personal conversation to help someone. NOPE. I mean I know my doctor was in her office bc one i could hear her speaking to the receptionist. smh. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED. I hope you read this Dr. Wendy Westfield. I want you to know that I don't feel like you want to be my doctor. Your not nice and take tones from you that I shouldn't even have to deal with but once again i should have spoke up for myself. Maybe you need to take time to remember why you became a doctor in the first place. It might be check the boxes for you and i am sure you have things to do behind closed doors. But, really come on. I drive an 1hour and change to get some help not to be turned away.
