I cannot say enough good things about our stay here. It was like going into a fairy tale. We were treated to the most amazing fire fly show each night, there were hundreds against the backdrop of the trees, I've never seen anything so beautiful. The first night we saw 2 shooting stars within 15 minutes of star gazing. The second night we saw 4 shooting stars. It was so dark and away from city lights that the sky was breath taking.nnIn addition, our hosts were amazing. We were late for breakfast (I wasn't expecting any) but despite that she still put together food for us with was amazing tasting and set us up on the porch. They also took our picture before we had to go for the wedding and it's our favorite from the trip. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. We loved it there so much.

Fabulous stay in the cottage with two adjacent rooms. Saw deer and groundhog on arrival, and hummingbirds on the porch the next day while having a fabulous breakfast freshly prepared by the lovely hosts. Short drive to Floyd. A true retreat and countryside gem.

- Very charming 19th century home that has been tastefully updated and kept it charms and authentic style.n- Very romantic with plenty of birds and wildlife to watch.n- Excellent location not far from main street and not far from two wineries.n- The room was clean and the hosts are very gracious and helpfuln- Breakfast was delicious and more than one could hope for. Home-made from scratch food with fresh fruit, coffee and juice.n- We enjoy our romantic stay very much and we will be staying there again.

We had a relaxing stay in one of the cabins during a wine tour in the Meadows of Dan and Roanoke area. Short drive into town where there are restaurants and shops, as well as a grocery store. It was nice enough to eat outside for breakfast (which was delicious). Lots of books to read, very cozy place.

Beautiful country side. Clear, starry nights. Clean and homey accommodations. A log fire in the master bedroom. Delicious breakfasts. Warm caring host. Can't do better!
