The stay was absolutely fabulous. Place was very nicely setup & clean. It was relaxing and the serenity around the stay is what we were looking for and it was beyond our expectations. Everything around was also very relaxing and fun. I would highly recommend this stay to disconnect!!!
A sweet little spot to stay! We LOVED our cabin! Super cute and spacious. We enjoyed canoeing around the lake, (canoes and bikes are available) We liked drinking our coffee on the porch watching the beavers on shore. It's a cool secluded campground. Seeing wildlife was a plus, we visited the Grand Caverns and hiked in Shenandoah during our stay.
I'll keep this brief, even though I have strong feelings about this venue. My soon to be wife and I were scheduled to get married at Montfair this year. Due to Covid-19 we were not legally allowed to hold a ceremony here. Montfair withheld our deposit and eventually stopped responding entirely. I don't know what we were supposed to do in that situation, and I feel that we had money unfairly taken from us. Avoid these thieves like the plague.
Crisp fresh country and mountain living. It is just rustic enough to feel like I got away BUT I still had WiFi. Cell reception wasn't great which was a lovely blessing. Was married here and will come back many, many times.
