Great experience! The place was so charming. Breakfast was delicious every morning. The inn keeper was so friendly and helpful. Just cannot say enough good things about the place and would definitely go back.

Don’t be fooled by the 2-star category, this inn is one of the best we’ve experienced! ⭐ufe0f⭐ufe0f⭐ufe0f⭐ufe0f⭐ufe0fnnBrigitte is AMAZING and accommodates every need. Upon arrival, she gives you a tour of the premise and shows you to your lovely room. We ordered strawberries ud83cudf53and champagne ud83cudf7eud83eudd42for our arrival and Brigitte hand picked the freshest fruit and dipped them in chocolate herself. She even brought us the champagne in an ice bucket after we got to our room to ensure it was properly chilled. And to top it off, she personally hand wrote a welcome letter ud83dudc8c to my wife and I celebrating our anniversary.nnThe room was well equipped with every luxury we were looking for: king bed with fine linens, jacuzzi tub for two, lovely windows with a great view, and a warm gas fireplace. ud83dudd25nnAll we can say is thank you to Brigitte for this lovely anniversary weekend she helped make possible. ❤ufe0fnnWe highly recommend this property to any and all couples looking for a lovely place to reconnect.

Everything about our stay was absolutely amazing. Brigitte has a wonderful talent in the kitchen. There are so many little touches that made our stay so comfortable. I highly recommend booking your stay here. One night was not enough and we can't wait to come back.

We had a wonderful experience at Foxfield Inn! Brigitte has a very charming and we'll cared for B&B with hospitality that goes far and beyond the norm. It has clean and comfortable rooms, a delicious morning breakfast and enjoyable amenities such as fireplace in the room, jacuzzi tub, and an outdoor hot tub. My wife and I were looking to get away for our 1 year anniversary, not having done any traveling during the pandemic but wanting to find a safe option to still get away and have a special weekend together. Foxfield Inn offered us that opportunity, we were very pleased with the safety measures for covid and felt very comfortable during our stay. The location is great, with activities nearby: vineyards, Shenandoah NP and Monticello. We will be staying here again on our next visit to Charlottesville!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Brigittte and the Foxfield Inn. From the beginning stages of our trip to the very last interaction, my husband and I had a lovely experience. Brigitte was kind over the phone and answered every question I had, from directions, description of the rooms, activities to do nearby and picking a great dinner restaurant for our anniversary celebration.nWe ended up picking the Hunt Room, it was way more spacious than we expected. It had a jacuzzi tub for 2, that comes with bath salts that smell amazing and candles. The fireplace was super easy to use, simply turning on and off with one remote control button. We bought a berries and bubbles package and it was the perfect way to start our trip. Brigitte did a wonderful job at making the chocolate covered strawberries with white drizzle on top. Our sparkling wine was chilled in a bucket, perfect! The linens were soft and cozy.nThe space is clean and kept up with really well. There is a common snack and drink bar. Both mornings Brigitte served a fresh and delicious 3 course breakfast to include coffee, tea, OJ and water.nShe let us know about ‘Select Registry’ which is a similar association to AAA ratings for hotels but for B&B’s. Every B&B that is a member needs to pass certain standards and go through an inspection to be awarded this distinction. My husband and I had always stayed at Hilton or Marriott properties, we will for sure use Select Registry properties more often!nWe explored the Glass House Winery, downtown Charlottesville mall, the Rotunda and the grounds at The University of Virginia, had dinner at Milan Indian Restaurant, and The Ivy Inn. All excellent choices, however our favorite on food and service was Milan. If you like Indian food please do yourself a favor and try it out! On our way out we purchased the Comphy sheets and cover for our own home, as they were irresistible. Lastly I want to mention this property has Tesla and EV chargers, which my husband and I always look for when traveling.nI hope this review helps any of you wanting to get away from every day life and spend a romantic weekend together.
