This hotel is a 5-star experience! The ambiance is quaint with completely modern, high end services. Clean, comfortable, lovely! The breakfast was EXCELLENT with a variety of delicious, nutritious options. Conveniently located in the heart of a picturesque setting next to fine dining.
My wife and I stayed 1 night with a trip to Forge & Vine on the agenda. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff was exceptional. While we live locally we talked about staying here for a while for a night out and we will definitely be back.
Years ago when George owned the hotel and before the fire, I attended a bridal shower and I’m a sensitive empath and I saw the spirits that were in the old part of the bar and the plaque that was hanging on the wall flew off and landed by my feet, the waitress turned pure white and some people didn’t believe what they saw. I wonder if the spirits are still there ? It’s was a beautiful old piece of history and I’m so sad that it burnt down but they did a beautiful job at making a new hotel
This place is awesome. Me and my wife love coming to the Groton Inn when ever we are in the Area. The staff is great. Also Holly in sales is tarific..
The Groton Inn was the ideal place to stay during the pandemic - they are fastidious and firm regarding COVID precautions while maintaining a beautiful, hospitable space.
