Ho'oilo House Bed and Breakfast

This review will not fully recap or fully explain our experience but wow! From the beginning of our research for our Honeymoon we visioned staying at a bed and breakfast, a quaint quiet location where we could relax after our day’s adventures. We got that visioned experience and more! Not only did we end up planning our trip around Ho’oilo House but it became our home for 5 awesome days nights. Dan and Amy were attentive, personal and made us feel at peace during the trip. Dan provided awesome advise, recommendations and was patient in answering all of our questions. In choosing the Ultimate R&R package we were able to finish our trip with an amazing dinner and relaxing travel morning. We can’t wait to be back in the Maui sunshine! Thank you so much Dan and Amy!

We recently stayed here for 7 nights to avoid staying at a large hotel during the pandemic. It was a wonderful experience!! I would recommend to anyone looking for a lower-key stay on Maui.nThe location is great - we were always on the go and liked that it was a little outside of the main part of Lahaina so we didn’t have to content with the resort traffic, but was a short drive to restaurants, etc.nThe bed was very comfortable, and we had a room with a private lanai that was a perfect spot for enjoying our breakfast.nThe breakfast is a nice continental breakfast with fresh baked goods and they also made gluten free options for my husband, which was very thoughtful.nThe best part was the outdoor shower, as mentioned in many other reviews. It’s so lovely. The view is awesome and it’s a cool feature that sets them apart. We already miss the shower (and all of Maui) very much!

Great time spent at this BnB. Dan was very accommodating and friendly - he gave us a lot of advice on things to do when we asked him!nnThe house is beautiful with a spectacular view. The property has a beautiful indoor/outdoor feel and has a very relaxed feel as well.

This is the best place to stay on Maui, hands down; it is truly one of the most peaceful and relaxing experiences. My wife and I had a great time at the Ho’oilo House and have recommended it to our friends and family as they return to the island. We typically like to try going to new places but the Ho’oilo House is one of the few places we will certainly visit again.

My wife and I had an INCREDIBLE stay at Ho'oilo House in Maui for our honeymoon. Amy & Dan are AMAZING. They make you feel at home in the beautiful space. Between the delicious vegan-friendly breakfasts, the breathtaking views, the outdoor shower (our room had one), the beautiful rooms – it's a must-stay in west Maui.
