The Kulani Maui

The Kulani Maui had the exact peaceful vibe I was seeking on my vacation. Coming into the property you immediately feel relaxed. The bedding was extremely comfortable. I also particularly enjoyed the rain shower in the bathroom and seeing plants outside my bathroom window.nnAdditionally, Heather and Pavel were great hosts. One of the nights there was a windstorm on the entire island - there were branches, dust, broken pots and other broken items all over the property. Heather and Pavel, who run the entire accommodation themselves, worked all day the following day cleaning everything up including the inside of each unit (as dust had gotten into the units from windows). Within the day everything was back to normal. They were also very friendly and pleasant to chat with.nnI had a great stay and recommend it highly /would stay there again.

Staying at the Kulani In Maui was one of the highlights of my vacation. The grounds are beautiful, the bungalows are huge, and the owners are wonderful people. I've stayed at 5 star resorts around Hawaii, but found myself to prefer this experience much more. The location is great and not far from some of Maui's best restaurants and surf spots. Excited for my next trip and cup of caffe with Pavel & Heather. Highly recommended!

Elevated comfort meets tropical oasis. If you're looking to stay in a central area without the big resort/touristy vibe this is the spot. We loved the authentic Hawaiian feel of the rooms as well as our own private lanai and outdoor shower. The landscaping literally feels like you're in your own tropical jungle, it's just gorgeous! Bed was very comfortable as well and our hosts, Heather and Pavel, could not have been more accommodating. They really made our stay special. There's no other place on the island like The Kulani and we will definitely be returning!!

Just checked in today but this is one of the nicest stays I've had in Hawaii. What a beautiful place just outside old town and a block from the beach.

We stayed here in August 2019.nThe grounds are wonderful; full of flower and foliage, close, cool and quiet despite being close to Front street. The bungalow was lovely, semi-traditional design. Very comfortable, spacious, and attractive. We only met one of the hosts, but she was very kind and personable, happy to spend time chatting with us and make us cafe quality espresso. The whole place feels like a lot of care has gone into it, along with a personal touch.
