Wilderness Inn - The Best Lodging This Side Of Heaven!

The room floor was filthy and stained looked like it had not been cleaned in years. The ice machine was marked with hand prints across the front of it like it had not been wiped off ever! When we got into the room there were several flies flying around! The refrigerator was extremely loud and turned on and off all night long! I was over charged for my dog, the website said $10, and I was charged $20. The spring bed was very uncomfortable and I woke up with a back ache! Because I booked through a booking site there were no discounts available to me, I am 64 and have a AAA Card, and an AARP Card neither card was honored! Free breakfast was advertised on their website but was not provided due to COVID-19 so I will give them a break there! Pre wrapped muffins and bottled orange juice would have been better than nothing! All in all the stay was not worth $127 dollar’s! Huge rip off!

The Wilderness Inn is a nice clean older no frills motel right in the middle of town. The rooms are very good sized and the staff is friendly. Our main complaint was that there is no grass on the property to take the dogs potty. That’s something a pet friendly motel should had.

Very nice owners. Inn is a fine place to lay your head for a night. Caviote.....this is a very basic inn. I think the owners are new and in transition. I hope they can update the place to help add some more appeal.

Bed was comfortable, room clean and staff friendly. They need AC outlets by the bed though. I have a CPAP and had to unplug the light on opposite side of bed from where I sleep to plug my CPAP in.

We had a wonderful stay here, the staff is so friendly and helpful! They even loaded us up with tons of snacks! Our room was huge, clean and had a very nice view of the mountains. It is only a few miles from Wallowa lake and within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. We will definitely come back again. FYI call directly to get the best price ud83dude00
