Sunny Ridge RV

We loved this place! We are new to the RV lifestyle so it was great that they had all of the hook ups we would need, we actually needed an adapter for our 30 amp plug but Richard their general contractor stopped by just to check on us and was able to lend us one that we ultimately bought from him. Overall it was a great experience, between booking, getting all the info we needed for our stay and Wifi to keep us connected in the valley we had everything for a cozy trip. We even had some deer come right up to graze next to the RV which the dogs just loved.

Our experience here on Aug. 29 was lovely! The hosts were friendly and accommodating, especially since they are new owners of only 8 weeks. The site was well shaded with mature trees. The bathroom was spotless. The sunset and sunrise were beautiful. The park is very dog-friendly. We look forward to seeing the improvements the new owners will make in the future, and will surely be back.

We made reservations and tried to cancel them almost immediately. Called several times with no answer. Left two messages with no response. Finally emailed asking to cancel. Several days later I received a reply stating that they were on vacation and the manager was not answering phones while they were gone and that you had to cancel 14 days in advance to get a refund. The reservations were not even made 14 days in advance and most RV reservations are not. RV parks usually require 48 hours in advance cancellation. Not very RV travel or people friendly.

Stayed here for a couple of days. I really enjoyed the stay. The place is nestled right off the road, but needs a few more signs up the road to notify guest of the up-coming entrance in advance. It's still under upgrading, but is a quiet and tranquil location with lots of shady trees. Truck traffic is minimal and don't interfere very much with the tranquility. Hook-ups, water, electricity, fast Wi-Fi and very clean rest room and bath are available. The couple that own and operate the place are very affable with their guest. Great place to get away from it all. Will definitely keep it in favorable places to visit.
