Best hotel experience EVER!!! The hotel was impeccably clean from top to bottom. The breakfasts were very yummy, and the staff were the most friendly and helpful I've ever experienced!! Even their covid-19 precautions were impressive!!! We were there from Virginia for my mother's funeral. And, due to complications to getting her body from Nevada to Idaho we had extend our stay. Although, they were pretty booked they managed to gladly fit us in for extra days. I would give this place 10 stars if I could.
The room was comfortable, clean and well laid out. They had an upgrade a few years ago and the place is still fresh. We will definitely stay here again when we're back in the area.
This would be a one star review save for the customer service. The woman who checked me in was nice and accommodating when I requested to change rooms. When we first walked into our room, it smelled like a dog kennel. We had been driving all day so decided just to live with it, but when I got into bed the pillows reeked as if someone has slept and sweat in them. We changed rooms and the smell was not much better. In fact the bathroom was worse than the room. I felt gross brushing my teeth in there. I got into bed in sweats with my hood up because I didn’t want anything to touch my skin. Neither of us were able to sleep at all, so we just got up early and left.nI am utterly shocked there are no other reviews about the smell. Highly disappointed as this is one of the more expensive hotels in the area, and we just wanted a good night of rest before getting back on the road.
By far the best customer service ever!!! I used booking.com to make my reservation and ended up having to modify it. Long story short they never modified the reservation and i still got charged. Ashley at the front desk found me a room late noticed with holiday inn express and went above and beyond to make sure that i was refunded for the night that i was not here. Will be staying again every time i am in ontario!!!
We stayed here two nights on a whirlwind weekend cross country. Thursday night we showed up with no reservation at 1:00 in the morning and were met with a friendly smile, a lovely king bed room, and a great rate. Room was clean, location was well lighted and seemed safe. On our way home Sunday night we got stopped by the highway closing due to weather. Again, clean room, friendly front desk staff, attentive breakfast servers. COVID protocols are well in place, I saw staff sanitizing the elevator, and breakfast is served to-go and bagged to order by staff. Complaint: not a big fan of the scent or quality of the Watkins shampoo and soap, but that’s just personal preference.
