Bear Country Cabins

Fun and clean. The cabin was very roomy. We had the bigger one that holds 17 people. It made the reunion we went to nice. We had a place to escape when needed.

The cabins are very beautiful but unfortunately they are very neglected, it is not possible that they do not invest anything to maintain them and only change something when it falls to pieces of age.nThe fans are very old, crooked and no longer work well, the decorative lamps no longer work, they don't even have the power switch, it must have broken years ago, the coffee pot dirty and very old, there are no glasses of any kind, no There are no drawers or any furniture to store your clothes just a closed drawer that serves as a table for the refrigerator and microwave but that is just a waste of space.nThe beds are old and the sheets even older. The mattress is old and uncomfortable, we literally couldn't sleep from back pain, we booked two nights and couldn't dare to spend another night on that stone mattress.nThe bathroom has only a central light that does not shine much, the shower is dark and there is no sink in the bathroom only outside.nThe description said it had a kitchenette but it is not true there is nothing but the microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker.nThere is only one place to make a bonfire, only one for all the cabins so you are lucky if you manage to use it since literally the first to use it does not drop it all night, they stole our firewood that we bought because we left it on the porch of our cabin and when we got back from the lake they were already using the campfire site and took our firewood. We were never able to use it, only other people enjoyed it.nThere is no one to manage the place, there is no office or anyone to be held responsible, they only send you the code to open the door and send you a message to check off, there is no office or anyone to file a claim or provide carenWe only saw a housekeeping that swept a cabin, but he only threw the trash to the ground, he never picked it up, he only threw it on the rocks, and as soon as he saw us he ran and left in his car.nI ask that you please give us our money back because in short this is just a scam, they sell you something very different, like a comfortable and cozy cabin, and that is far from what it really is.

Very comfortable, since this is a place to sleep and rest, cause there is a lot stuff to do in the area. No AC in the room but it seems that they are developing in order to even have a great experience.

We have been calling for a few days trying to cancel our reservation, finally got through with the manager which handled the situation unprofessionally. We had an emergency come up, I tested positive for COVID 19. If they don’t refund my money we are coming up anyways. Sorry guys but we don’t want to waste 350 dollars.

The cabin was great. I was surprised at how much room it had. It is in great proximity to Noth Beach at Bear Lake and is a great value. The cleaning staff was exceptionally friendly. The parking is good with picnic table and a fire pit. The basketball court shown in the photos is in shambles with broken backboards so dont plan on that being and added feature although my son and I did give it a shot. I debated on a five star rating but didnt just because of the unit having no AC and there was also a thermostat that I assume is for heating the room that lights up the entire sleeping quarter when you try to sleep. My recommendation would be to put a much larger box fan and have a cover for the light. 5 stars for sure if you have those two things.
