Cute little beach. Great location because its close to gas stations and other necessary things. The spots all have grass and they are all pull through which is super nice. There is a pool, small playground and horse shoe pits. I was insanley shocked with how clean the public restrooms and showers were. Pleased to say we will return and keep returning for our monthly summer dose of river rat fun.

River Breeze was maintained very well. The bathrooms were clean all around. Unfortunately, the pool and jacuzzi were closed because of the virus and 6ft of separation. If you have a 35-40 ft trailer/fifth wheel you should request a drive through space because the access up and down the site is lined by cars making it narrow to back into pads. The beach area is mostly rocky so bring water shoes. There is a mini dog park and a horse shoe pit just above the river area next to the launch ramp. Try and set up your easy up early and have something to keep it from being blown away in case it gets windy. I've heard that Fridays the river level is low and there are many sand bars that can be a hazard when jet skiing/wave runner and or boating. You can drink alcohol on the rivers edge, but no glass bottles. Bring a trash bag to clean up because there is only one trash can by the dog park. There is a few shaded area's of grass before the rivers edge. Overall this place was wonderful and we met many semi- permanent residents that were friendly and helpful with various information. Ones last thing... There is a gas station close by but there is another gas station about .40 per gallon less about 3 miles further East on highway 10.

First off, be aware that at the time of this review (December 2020), the park had recently been purchased by neighboring campground The Palms at River Edge. While they were starting to share the latter name, they still had separate websites and were still operating as separate campgrounds.nnWe stayed for 6 days at one of the pull-through sites. The pull-through sites are close-cut grass sites with some dirt patches located between two paved roads. All non-camper vehicles had to be parked on one of the roads: the roads were wide enough that you could still get through even if vehicles were parked on both sides of the road. Some sites had small tress or shrubs, but no picnic tables or fire pits. Each row ended with a series of small houses with covered parking for campers or boats occupied by long-term residents. So it felt like we’d just added our home on wheels to a suburban neighborhood, so it just felt different. The gated entrance/exit added to that vibe: a passcode was required to enter the campground at all hours of the day, which honestly felt a tad oppressive.nnThe campground backs onto the Colorado River. That end of the campground has a boat ramp, a small playground, a horseshoe pit, and a fenced-in dog park, where our dogs enjoyed running around on the grass. You can walk down to the shoreline, but there isn’t really a beach: the area at the back of The Palms at River Edge has most of the beachfront, and they are developing that area to enhance its appeal as a recreation spot (it should be nice when they’re done).nnThey do propane tank refills: just leave your cylinder by the tank (put your site number on it), let the office know that you need a refill, and they’ll deliver it to your site once it’s been filled. The bathrooms on the back side of the office building are unremarkable but clean.nnIn terms of cell service, my Verizon bandwidth was inconsistent. On the Sunday we arrived, I barely got 1Mpbs both up and down with my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna. The signal strength seemed average, but I did briefly try using my WeBoot cell booster to see if it helped (it did not). But the next day I started getting more usable speeds of 8Mbps down and 4Mbps up, and through the rest of our stay we would have hours of usable bandwidth and hours where it was unusable. On the other hand, the one speed test I performed on my AT&T phone showed 103Mbps down and 16Mbps up, so I switched over to my phone hotspot whenever I had to attend an online meeting at work to ensure I had a connection that could handle the audio and video.nnThis is a decent place for a quick layover, but not somewhere I’d choose to stay long term just because of the vibe (and just to be clear, everyone we met was friendly, so it’s not one of those campgrounds with full-time residents that treat overnighters differently).

Great place to stay on the river. Clean and well thought out. Trees in strategic spots for shade and privacy. Great little benches to sit on.

Pros: Nice, Clean , grass, pet friendly, beach on the river, paved road, pull in sights, cable tv, pool, jacuzzi, maintained daily, friendly staffnnCons: long stay tenants prepare to have your vehicles and trailer water spotted to another dimension and maintenance will do it right in front of you and won't dry it off since grass is watered weekly, drunks on the weekends, people don't respect parking spaces and will block your parking space especially on the weekends, don't be surprised if they back into your car too. Other then that i give it a 4 just because its a clean place and maintained regularly
