I was very excited to be staying at the Peery for one night. However I was kept up all night by the noise from the public parking lot located directly outside our window. I understand that this is out of the control of the hotel but what they can control is having better windows that don’t make the noise sound like it’s inside your room. I stayed on a Saturday night, so maybe that was the issue. However, after read some other reviews this seems to be a common occurrence. I hope they take this issue seriously in the future because other than that it was a nice place to stay at a good location downtown.

We stayed two nights in this gorgeous hotel. The front desk staff were really friendly and welcoming. The hotel and room appeared very clean. The room was very spacious. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. The bathroom was huge. And everything looked so clean! Despite being downtown, the hotel was extremely quiet. The room had really good room darkening curtains. The area and hotel felt safe. The hotel was in a great location, and was walking distance to lots of places to eat, including Vosen's bakery (yum!!), Temple Square, and the State Capitol. I would highly recommend staying here.

WORST HOTEL STAY EVER! The hotel is charming and cute which is why we picked it. Service has been fine. BUT the building is so old and walls are paper thin. There is a nearby pub that was so loud that it was shaking the entire building from midnight to 4am. The amount of noise coming into our room in the middle of the night was UNBEARABLE. We thought about packing up and leaving at 2am multiple times. We have stayed in multiple cities so we understand city noise but have NEVER had anything like this where you literally can’t sleep from how loud everything is. I could hear conversations happening on the street at 2am from our 2nd story room. Additionally you can hear EVERY TIME someone turns on water above like a waterfall into your room. I would truly say this ruined our anniversary stay. So very disappointed.

Stayed here as a Hilton Diamond member. Staff were friendly and provided recommendations to eat. Room itself was nice, very old times feeling. Could have stayed at the Hilton next door but I really liked the character and historical nature of the Peery.nnLocation itself was great, easy to walk to multiple restaurants and bars and attractions, and a short drive to other stores.nnParking cost $12 through a third party parking business. The included breakfast was basic but very good, only thing that sucks was coffee wasn’t included.

Come from Texas to feel the cool mountain air. That was nice but when got to out room it was 80 degrees and no way to cool it down. Called desk n they said noting they can do as heating n cooling system is seasonal n cannot be changed. So we said we won’t be able to stay here if it’s this hot at night. The you women at the desk on March 3rd said no problem you can leave and go stay somewhere else! Wo who says that? This place is a joke! Save a buck n take a picture of it if you want to see historical building. Staff is rude and unsympathetic to the issue. Needless to say we left! Wow the green new deal already having wonderful impact on its people!! Should have guessed a state that would vote Mitt Romney into office!! Much better places around with friendly staff. Won’t come back!
