We stayed at Three Bears Lodge for a little getaway. This was our first time staying here and it was amazing we loved it. The location of the cabin was in walking distance of everything. The kitchen had everything you needed for cooking. We took our grill so we enjoyed sitting on the porch grilling our meals. The owners are great and they make you feel welcome! We will definitely come back and stay here.

The cabin was very cute. It was a great location. Right by a little river, a ski lift, and the main street. You could walk to most restaurants and shopping. The owners of Three Bears are amazing. Take deer corn or carrots and you can feed the deer in early evening.

Spent 3 nights at Three Bears Lodge during off-season (October) and enjoyed my time there. The cabin was clean and roomy, and they included firewood as well (although only enough for 1 fire, if you need more you have to pay more). All the appliances worked well and there was ample parking in front of the cabin for my car (not covered, basically street parking).nnYou can't beat the location, it's right in the middle of town and next to the ski lift. Everything is within walking distance. In fact, the only time I drove my car was to go to a trailhead. Other than that, we walked everywhere.nnThe WiFi is basically non-existent and doesn't work. I couldn't even download an email to read, and when I ran a speed test I got

Pro: The lodge had cozy cabin vibe. Quite and felt secluded, walking distance to the town and ski lift. Con: Bed was uncomfortable, window screen needing fixing, kitchen didn't have vent and toilet commode and shower bit small. Pillows had hairs from previous party. Careful with the heater in the bathroom.

We were looking for a cabin anywhere in the mountains. Everything in the Carson Nat’l forest is crazy expensive because of the skiing crowd there. We just needed a getaway from city and covid talk.nThe owners are amazing here! Chris was super informative and helpful. Our cabin was one of the 2 bedrooms. We felt like we were camping in a cabin in the woods while we were inside the unit. The mountains are literally a 300 foot walk from our door. The river was so close. You could walk the whole town in 30 minutes.nIt was just what we needed other than the “social distancing “ part. Normally when we vacation, we like to meet new people and make friends. Harder to do that nowadays.nWe will definitely be back to 3 Bears cabins and probably make it a once a year getaway. I hope next time we can meet more people.
