Surely La Doña Luz is one of the most beautiful and well maintained properties in all of Taos. Authentic in every way, this is the kind of experience I search for when traveling. It was wonderful meeting Paco and learning the history of La Doña Luz. We stayed in The Rainbow Room: Unbelievably gorgeous with attention to even the most minute detail. One of the most warm, welcoming experiences in all my travels. Do not miss a chance to spend time here. DID I MENTION THERE IS A HOT TUB ON THE ROOF!?!?!
Absolutely great experience. The place is very authentic, each room has its own vibe and spirit, and they are beautiful. I stayed for 2 nights but in the family-like atmosphere of this place I felt like home after a few hours. The inn's location is very convenient, so you won't even need a car to get to a plaza, restaurants, grocery store, or shops. The owner is a warm, heartful and intelligent person, I enjoyed our conversations a lot. In this pandemic, staying there was such an enreaching and heartwarming experience! I highly recommend this place.

Perfect place to stay! The ambience and decoration are very nice, and the attention to detail is impressive!nWe stayed in the La Luz suite and recommend it!nBreakfast was also excellent!
We had the pleasure of spending two nights in the Santiago room at La Dona. It was absolutely delightful. Large room with king bed, extremely quiet, unique decor that whispers serenity. The Inn is conveniently located to give us just enough exercise after a marvelously prepared breakfast. We would return and recommend in a heart beat, oh, and the owner and staff are fabulously friendly.
