Taos Valley Lodge

Overall a good hotel stay. The check in staff was nice and gave us a free upgrade. The room was simple, but clean and seemed fairly updated. They had a coffee shop onsite that actually was really large and nice! Biggest negative as the room walls were thin. The lighting in our room was not good either. The hotel does not provide conditioner. The location is a short drive to the main plaza. If you are looking for a cheaper, but perfectly adequate place to stay, I would recommend Taos Valley Lodge.

Mom is staying here long term as we wait for the construction of her new house to be finished. Very kind and professional staff. Went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Easy process, and super convenient.nnTheir new coffee shop/restaurant is super stylish and comfortable, with nice decor, and a beautiful fireplace. Highly recommend this place!

For the affordable price I was not expecting much, but let me tell you how amazing my stay was. The room was newly remodeled and it was very nice, but what made my experience phenomenal was Nic and Brendan. They were the clerks working the front desk and every morning they greeted me by my name. They were so kind and always asked if they could help me with anything; they were attentive and gave great recommendations on what to do around town. I hope the owner and management knows how lucky they are to have such stellar employees. As an added benefit the new coffee shop they have is convenient, modern, and very tasty. Next time I go back to Taos I will not even think about staying anywhere but here. Thank you so much!

Stayed one night on our way to Denver, CO. The room was clean. Super inexpensive. Dog friendly and had no pet deposit. The staff was very friendly. Over all a good experience.

Good place to enjoy a needed place to sleep, very comfortable, very clean..nBreakfast coffee house at hotel.. they had a kicking good burrito, the coffee was very great. I will be back to stay. Thanks..
