BUYER BEWARE! I book this for 1 night with the beginning price of $59 by the time all was said and done it was $456. They have a long sketchy contract, I should have stopped there but I tried to make the best out of the situation. There was no one on staff for any questions. Don't waste your money!

We stayed at these cabins 4 years ago and it wasn't bad at all especially for the price. This time was very different. First off, we had to sign a very very (20 pages) long document. We were sketched out at first, but after receiving some emails we decided to sign it. When we arrived, we found out we had to go to a different location. Not awful, but not something you don't want to find out after driving for a good part of the day. Then when we got there, that place was closed and our packet information was in box outside. In our packet was a code to the door. It seems like a similar set up to airbnb, but without the efficiency of it being emailed to us. Also the code didn't seem very secure. We get into out cabin and it's beautiful. It's great, until we found out there was no hot water. Didn't take a shower that entire weekend. We also found a very large bra in a side table drawer. Someone had more fun there than we did. The bed sheets were very scratchy so we slept on top of the covers with the extra blankets and some of our own. It has issues, issues that can be easily fixed. Probably next time we will stay at an Airbnb to be safe.
Tys And Nanas Place (10/01/2020)
Cute rustic cabins with all the comforts of home. There is a nice place to walk your pets just north of the property. (We didn't travel with ours considering we didn't know the area on this visit) Check in was confusing, I would recommend calling ahead to get your instructions between 9am-5pm MST Monday-Friday or watch your email closely to make sure they send that email before closing time. There is no one at the property to over see check-in. We have seen plenty of deer on the property. Pretty amazing being close enough to snap a photo The property is very close to Grindstone lake. Alto lake I am told is not to far also. There is a small super market right across the street so no worries if you forget something. We stayed in the king sleeper with recliner. The cabin is much larger than it appears in the photos. We didn't use the fireplace, but the heater kept the cabin cozy during the cooler morning. We didn't use the air conditioner, we opened the screen front door and all the screened windows. The breeze was nice. There is also a ceiling fan that helped circulate the air. The park is quiet, but it does set off a main road so if your not used to traffic noise this may bother you. At night the traffic is quiet. The evening walks around the park are enjoyable and you can star gaze from the porch. This is a pleasant quiet get away for anyone looking for rest and relaxation while enjoying fishing, walking, and shopping. Space for one car per cabin with possibly of adding two at other cabins. There is plenty of extra parking north of the property. The garbage cans are within walking distance of the cabins but not so close to cause a nuisance. The park isn't level, they are on a slight incline but again so is the whole town. The only dislikes and only because I have an extremely lower car than normal. Is the entry and exit to the park is steep. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We will stay again.

The best part was the price. You get what you pay for, in this case. You can literally hear your neighbor talking in their room. Parking is horrid. Gaps in the door. Slanted floors. There is a 3ft drop off the porch with no railings. Only seating was the hard queen sized bed. Everytime you moved on the bed the lamp flickered. The other cabins might be better but any cabins in the middle of the property are a no thank you. I suggest they be demolished and replaced with an outdoor area for the the other cabins. Im not a picky person and we have stayed in some doozies before but this place we actually ended up leaving after a few hours of trying to get comfortable. Drive 2 hours home. Wouldn't recommend and is in need of some major updates and parking modifications.

Where to begin? I trusted the cabin’s advertisement and upon arrival immediately regretted not researching the other reviews. I understand this is a rustic 1940s cabin and not a 5 star hotel but there are several factors that made our stay undesirable. 1. The water pressure is a joke. It barely trickles out the shower and the sink. Don’t count on washing your hair. 2. The check in instructions are confusing. Their email instructions should be heavily revamped. 3. The property is extremely cramped and not pretty. Sitting outside is undesirable. 4. The digital keypad on the cabin front door is a security issue and within minutes we realized you can figure out anyone else on the property’s passcode. We kept our valuables in the car and overall did not feel safe. 5. There’s not a spot to put your suitcase on the floor or unpack your clothes. Makes everything messy and cramped. 6. The sheets are like sandpaper. 7. The ceiling fan creaks nonstop. Luckily we were able to tighten it ourselves as it kept us up the first night. 8. The carpet feels grimy. 9. The toilet paper holder was barely hanging on the wall/about to fall off. 10. The floor is uneven. 11. The TV is damaged. 12. I’ve stayed in many cabins/b&bs and never had to sign such a lengthy contract. Seemed very odd. 13. The A/C window unit clicks loudly and will keep you up unless you turn it off. 14. The curtains are so sheer you can see right through them. Creepy! Some of these complaints are nitpicky but together they add up to an unenjoyable experience. We are easy going people and overall we hated this place. I’m embarrassed to say that we stayed here.nnPros: The location is close to town, the staff was nice on the phone.nnAdvice to others: pay a little more to stay elsewhere or camp in a tent.
